Judith Underhill

Judith is a commercially focused and customer orientated Executive Coach, facilitator and Change Agent with broad and varied experience from a range of industry sectors. With a positive attitude and insight, underpinned with an ability to analyse strategic issues, Judith coaches’ individuals and teams to discover practical solutions and outcomes for transforming personal and business performance.

Judith works with executives and senior managers and her areas of expertise lie in her in depth knowledge of organisational change and her ability to work in a collaborative way, to help build highly motivated individuals and teams using an empathetic and intuitive approach with a firm focus on professionalism and effectiveness.

Judith holds an MSc in Change Agent Skills and Strategies from the University of Surrey as well as a Diploma in Performance Coaching, NLP Business Practitioner, and CIPD Certificate in Training practice and is an ILM accredited facilitator and trainer. She has been an Executive Coach for Zurich Insurance for the past four years and is also one of just 25 elected to the NHS CEO, Chair and Executive Directors coaching panel.

Judith is a specialist coach and trainer in the areas of organisational and behavioural change at Senior Management / Executive level. She is passionate about wellbeing and at work and in creating healthy environments in which people can learn and develop.

Client engagements include:

  • One to One Coaching of executives and senior Directorate in the Financial and Healthcare sectors.
  • Project lead for an Employee Engagement programme for a major financial institution.
  • Leadership development programmes, including operational board development for a leading Insurance Broker.
  • Design of two key workshops for the NHS – Building and maintaining resilience though change and teams in transition.
  • Working with a Government body, with various members of the leadership teams, including regional Directors, to integrate and restructure their regions and teams.
  • Team dynamics and team building with government body in Wales.
  • Coaching development programme for all Managers in a Government organisation.
  • Designed and led facilitation skills workshop and for franchisor as part of the franchising package.
  • Modular management development programme for two colleges within Cambridge University.
  • Stress and well being at work talks for Women in Business and the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce.

Judith has over 20 years experience in the financial sector. During the past nine years Judith has worked with individuals and teams in both the public and private sector. With a strong business background she has an ability to articulate the strategic perspective of an organisation to the wider system with ease and clarity. Judith writes regular articles for the Federation of Insurance Brokers, Professional Pointers magazine and actively creates network and development opportunities for coaches and consultants in a drive for continual professional development.

Judith is an associate member of the CIPD and qualified to deliver the DISC profiling tool, Belbin team roles, and 360 Degree feedback for Right Management leadership qualities framework.
